Sweepstakes Rules

  1. PERIOD.  The Sweepstakes will begin on November 7, 2019 and end on November 20, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Central (the “Sweepstakes Period”) and be conducted by Texans for Natural Gas (the “Sponsor”).

  2. ELIGIBILITY.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER.  Only legal residents of Texas who are over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.  The Sweepstakes is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

  3. ENTRIES. LIMIT OF ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON.   A person who enters the Sweepstakes utilizing the Texans for Natural Gas website is considered an “Entrant.”  All Entrants are acknowledging that they have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Sweepstakes Rules and the Privacy Policy published on the Texans for Natural Gas website http://www.texansfornaturalgas.com/privacy_policy.

  4. PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS; ODDS.  The Grand Prize is One (1) Yeti Roadie Cooler valued at up to $199.00.  Odds of an entry being selected are based on the total number of entries in the Sweepstakes. Prizes will only be awarded upon winner validation and verification.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize for another of equal or greater value.  All prizes must be redeemed by December 18, 2019, and may not be redeemed for cash value.  The winner will be responsible for any federal, state and local taxes associated with the prize.  The winner may be required to sign a Release, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Prize Acceptance Form or any other form/document deemed necessary by Sponsor to receive the Prize.  

  5. CONSENT OF USE.  Each Entrant hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of the names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers and any other information provided on the on-line entry form or other documentation provided to the Sponsor or otherwise collected by Sponsor as described in the Privacy Policy published on the Texans for Natural Gas website, including the Sponsor’s use of any such information in advertising, promotions, and other publicity conducted by Sponsor and their respective partners, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, employees, and agents, except where prohibited by law.  Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, each Entrant further assigns any and all rights he or she may have over his or her entry form and entry materials or submission to Sponsor without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind.  To the extent necessary, each entry shall be deemed a work for hire with all rights belonging to Sponsor.

  6. RULES.  All decisions as to these Sweepstakes Rules and interpretations thereof are exclusively within the sole discretion of Sponsor and may be changed from time to time without notice.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

  7. MARKETING DISCLAIMER. By entering the Sweepstakes, you are agreeing to receive communications from Sponsor, subject to opting out by proper notification when you desire. All content submitted for the purposes of the Sweepstakes is eligible to be used for further marketing purposes outside of the Sweepstakes.

  8. RESULTS: Results will be posted at www.TexansForNaturalGas.com or a list can be requested by sending a written request to Texans for Natural Gas within three months from the expiration of the Sweepstakes Period.

  9. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmission and/or network connections, nor are they responsible for any inaccuracies in information which may be used in the Sweepstakes, or for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of attempts, including data entered by contestants.   All information provided by any Entrants becomes the property of Sponsor.   By entering, each Entrant agrees to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY Sponsor and each of their respective partners, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, damages, claims and causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of (a) Entrant’s participation in this sweepstakes, (b) Entrant’s entry form and entry materials, (c) any typographical or other error in these Sweepstakes Rules or (d) the receipt and/or use or enjoyment of the Prize or any replacement prize that may be awarded herein, including any travel associated with the Prize.
