A Letter from Texans for Natural Gas on the City of Dallas Climate Action Plan

On behalf of the nearly 800 members of Texans for Natural Gas who live and work in Dallas, we are writing to express our concern about the City of Dallas’ Comprehensive Environmental and Climate Action Plan (CECAP).

 

Permian Pipelines Are a Winning Solution for Methane and Flaring

Although oil and gas production across Texas has suffered a significant slowdown, essential infrastructure projects – especially pipelines – are still moving ahead, which will ultimately help to decrease methane emissions and reduce flaring activity. 

 

Houston’s Climate Action Plan Must Embrace Clean Natural Gas

Last month, the City of Houston released its Climate Action Plan, which provides evidenced-based measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. One key way to lower emissions in Houston and across the globe? Embrace clean burning natural gas.
